I am a UK-based artist with an equal passion for art and science and specialise in animal anatomy, creature design and digital painting. All my art is inspired by my love of the natural world and I enjoy exploring it both on land and underwater.
I have a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford (2015-18) and am currently finishing up my MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation at the University of Leeds (2020-21). I am also a member of the Outreach Committee of the Royal Entomological Society.
With over 8 years of experience doing freelance artwork for a variety of clients, I am most interested in wildlife conservation, science communication, creature design, natural history filmmaking and visual development for film and games. Much of my work is done digitally in Photoshop CC, but also in traditional media such as pencil, ink, watercolour, gouache and oil paints.
Regular updates of new work and sketches can be found on Instagram and books can be found at my Etsy.
Clients include Blue Marine Foundation, Superflux, Marshmallow Laser Feast, Somerville College and 3DTotal publishing.
