Hello!
I'm a UK-based artist with a passion for art and science and specialise in animal anatomy, creature design and digital illustration. All my art is inspired by my love of the natural world and I enjoy exploring it both on land and underwater.
I have a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation from the University of Leeds. I am also a member of the Outreach Committee of the Royal Entomological Society. My MSc thesis was titled 'The use of documentary film footage to understand the behaviour of fig wasps' and the 20-minute film created to go alongside it is viewable on Figweb. With over 9 years experience doing freelance art and design work for a variety of clients, I am very familiar with softwares such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Procreate. I also work in traditional media such as pencil, ink, gouache and oil paints. Past clients include Blue Marine Foundation, the School of International Futures, Superflux, Marshmallow Laser Feast, Somerville College and 3DTotal publishing. BOOKS:
