The book Tamagawa Microcosmos is the output of a personal project themed around the microscopic life of the Tama River which separates Tokyo from its neighbouring prefecture Kanagawa.

It was originally created in 2025, where it won first place at the Tamagawa Art Caravan competition organised by Showa Women’s University. Following this event, we explored more sites along the river and self-published a finished 120-page, hand-bound book.
