2023 • BIRDS of the LOWER DERWENT VALLEY

Illustrated over 30 species of bird and 9 landscape scenes of the Lower Derwent Valley National Nature Reserve for the upcoming book 'Birds of the Lower Derwent Valley' to be published Summer 2024.

2022 • FOREVER HOME - BIRDWOOD GAMES

Illustrated the 2023 boardgame 'Forever Home' - with art direction and graphic design by Dann May (Quillsilver Games)
Finalist for Best Art in the Dicebreaker Tabletop Awards 2023.

2023 • NISHIMUKI JAM & COFFEE LABELS

Designed a series of wildlife-themed jam labels for Nishimuki, Shizuoka, Japan. Masked palm-civet, wild boar and brown-eared bulbul.

Also illustrated a pair of coffee labels based on two Japanese yōkai: a kappa and an akaname.

2024 • SCREAMIE JEEMIES BOOK COVERS

Book cover illustrations done for the children's books Screamie Jeemies by Halogen Jones, inspired by the North Yorkshire town of Whitby.

2023 • INSPIRED BY NATURE - 3DTOTAL

Commissioned to design a character inspired by a fungus species and write an accompanying walkthough of the process for the 2024 book 'Inspired by Nature'.
The chosen fungus for inspiration was the weeping milk cap (Lactifluus volemus) and its associated organisms (crane flies and mites).

2019/2020 • FUNDAMENTALS OF CREATURE DESIGN - 3DTOTAL

Commissioned to write and illustrate a 45-page chapter on animal anatomy for creature designers.

Illustrations for the RES's children's magazine about insect science, INSTAR.
Some illustrations for an article on insect mouthparts and others for a key/guide to identifying insect larvae.

Short illustrated piece on fig-fig wasp interactions.

Diagrams showing how gut bacteria can affect insect health made in collaboration with Dr Andongma Awawing.
